Avanamkulam Subrahmanya Temple is an ancient temple at Edachalam village in Kuttipuram, Malappuram, destroyed during the invasion of Tipu Sultan. Only the feet of the deity, Bala Subrahmanya, survived and remain the object of worship.
Local devotees first attempted restoration in 1988 but could not complete it for lack of resources. UgraNarasimha Devaswom has since undertaken the temple's revival, alongside the complex's Srikrishna, Bhadrakali, and Vanashasta temples. The Garbhagriha is now complete.
